WINE TASTINGS are held every Wednesday at 5:30 pm. Price is $20 per person, $16 per person for Wine Club members, plus tax & gratuity. Artisan sliced meats, imported cheeses and ciabatta bread with olive oil included. Reservations Recommended
WINE DINNER prices vary depending on the menu and paired wines and do not include tax and gratuity. Wine Club members receive 20% off for most Wine Dinners. Chef Matt Vawter-Beaird prepares a multi-course dinner paired with wines chosen by our Sommelier Andrew Shaffner, complementing the theme of the evening. Reservations Required

Italy by the taste!
Italy is known as one big vineyard. Many different grape varietals are grown, some you have heard of, some you may not. We will take you on an Italian tour to taste from Piedmont and Alto-Adige in the north, through the famous Tuscany, and down to the island of Sicily.

Weather permitting, enjoy dinner and then the fireworks through our Victorian windows or from the patio.

Spain’s wine industry has undergone massive changes over the past ten years, with modernization bringing Spain’s traditional wine business into the 21st century. At the same time, traditionalists continue to make their mark. We will focus on a particular region, producer or varietal in our ongoing look at the Spanish wine industry.
Wednesday, July 16th – Wine Tasting:
Around the world with Pinot Noir!
The Pinot Noir grape is often linked with great red wines from the Burgundy wine region in France. However, we also find great Pinot Noir in the New World, especially Oregon, New Zealand, and California. And over time we may find wines from Austria, Argentina, Australia, Canada, Chile, Germany, Moldova, South Africa, and Switzerland, where it is also planted.
Wednesday, July 23rd – Wine Tasting:
California white wines for summer!
From the Central Coast to northern California the white wines are becoming more varied and delicious. We will try several and see if you can find a new summer favorite to sip, from sparkling wines, to Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Pinot Gris.
Thursday, July 24th – Wine Dinner:
Wine Dinner with Grande River Vineyards, Palisades, Colorado
Delicious Grande River Colorado wines paired with extraordinary Colorado cuisine prepared by our native Summit County chef, Chef Matt Vawter-Beaird.

A selection of 90+ point wines
Whether you like Wine Spectator’s method, Robert Parker, or Wine Enthusiast, we will have fun finding some highly rated wines, and see if your palette agrees with the “experts.”

The Aussies and the Kiwis are creating better and better wines every year that are full-bodied, rich, and fun. Come and taste the “down under” joys of Sauvignon Blanc, Shiraz, Pinot Noir and more!
Wednesday, August 13th – Wine Tasting:
Cabernets and Cabernet Blends
Come and join us as we taste the mighty king of deep and dark, cabernet sauvignon. From Napa, to Bordeaux, to Chile and Australia, we will warm up to the different tastes from these different world-class wine-producing regions.
Wednesday, August 20th – Wine Tasting:
Proper glassware -- Champagne, riesling, chardonnay, burgundy/pinot, bordeaux/cabernets, shiraz/syrah, port/sherry…
Why are certain wines served in different shaped glasses? Does the thickness of the glass make a difference in the taste? We’ll taste and you decide!
Wednesday, August 27th – Wine Tasting:
European Wines: Portugal, France, Spain, Italy, Greece, Germany
Old world wines, as they are referred to in the industry, have several indigenous varietals. We will taste the traditions of each country and you may discover a gem. We will have fun with examples like Moschofilero, Ariento, Tempranillo, Nero D’Avola, Gewurztraminer, etc.
Wednesday, September 3rd – Wine Tasting:
Loire Valley by the taste!
We will go on a tour 600 miles along the valley of France’s Loire River. We’ll start in the upper Loire region where only Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir are produced. Then we’ll head to the middle Loire to taste Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc. Our journey will end in the lower Loire to taste a famous Muscadet.
Wednesday, September 10th – Wine Tasting:
New World vs Old World Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet
Sauvignon Blanc has really put New Zealand on the world’s wine map. Taste the difference of this grape grown on the island, South Africa, and its homeland, the Loire Valley. Cabernet is the king of grapes. It’s grown all over the world now, and we will see the differences in it’s homeland of Bordeaux versus everywhere else.
Wednesday, September 17th – Wine Tasting:
France by the taste!
SFrance is the birthplace of many grape varietals that we enjoy today. We'll find out specifically where they are grown including Champagne, Burgundy, Loire Valley, Bordeaux, Rhone Valley and Alsace.
Wednesday, September 24th – Wine Tasting:
Sparkling Bubbles & Champagne!
We will taste Champagne, Mousseux, Cremant, Prosecco, and Spumante. And we will finish with a sweet Moscato D’Asti. We will discover many other sparkling bubbles besides Champagne.
Wednesday, October 1st – Wine Tasting:
South America by the taste!
Fun and exciting wines from all over South America! We will discover Chilean Chardonnay and Cabernet, Argentinian Torrontes and Malbec, and Uruguayan Tannat.
Wednesday, October 8th – Wine Tasting:
Great wines from California, Washington, and Oregon!
We will taste great wines from some of the strongest wine-producing regions in the domestic market. From “Sideways-famous” Santa Barbara county, to the Yakima Valley in eastern Washington, this is a tasting not to miss.
Wednesday, October 15th – Wine Tasting:
Tuscany by the taste!
We will go on a tour of Tuscany as we taste Chianti, Super-Tuscans, Vernaccia, and some classic French varietals grown in Italy. From the Mediterranean coast to the hills south of Florence we will meander around the countryside in search of what Tuscan wine is all about.
